GW Stage Version - Guild Wars Forums

hey, about the stage version of the game that is given when your application for the ATS is chosen, I noticed we have to download a whole new copy of the game.

I don't have the disk space to download all the 4 Gigs of data, tried today loading only the areas I need in-game, but the 3 hour window the server is up were wasted on loading screens. Didn't even get close to the HvH arenas.

you guys think it would it be ok to just rename the Gw.dat to GwStage.dat?
And then back to Gw.dat of course.

didnt work for me when i tried it..
what i ended up doing was burning my .dat file to dvd, deleting it, and downloading the staging one.
